Event content creation and streaming specialist First Sight Media has today announced three new appointments to its technical team, adding Harrison Ford, Luke Main, and Emma Pullen, as the company increases its capacity to support a growing portfolio of graduation, conference, live-streaming, and hybrid event projects.

The new hires bring a diverse range of experience, spanning broadcast studio direction, narrative film editing, and two decades of freelance live event production. These appointments are designed to bolster the company’s internal technical expertise and enhance its capacity for delivering high-quality event solutions.

Harrison Ford joins the company as senior technical producer. With 20 years of experience as a freelance camera operator, vision mixer, and director in the corporate and live events sector, Ford brings an extensive background in both large-scale music festivals and corporate video production.

“It’s been great getting stuck in with the team at First Sight Media,” says Ford. “My goal here is to help produce the technical side of our live events and provide support to the wider crew. I enjoy the variety of this industry, and I’m looking forward to using my background to help us refine our processes and ensure we’re getting the most out of our equipment.”

Luke Main takes on the role of technical producer, bringing a background in narrative filmmaking. Having directed and edited over 30 short films, Main’s expertise lies in cinematic storytelling, which he is now applying to live event highlights and graduation ceremonies. He commented, “There’s a specific energy in a live room that I love, and I’m looking forward to applying my narrative background to our event highlights to make sure the end product is as seamless as possible.”

Emma Pullen also joins as a technical event producer. Pullen has a background in creative production and operational leadership, including experience as a studio show director for global brands. Her focus at First Sight Media will be on hybrid and virtual productions, project planning, and post-production editing.

“What drew me to First Sight Media was its balance of technical quality and client service,” says Pullen. “I’m keen to work across the mix of live and digital projects here. I’m particularly interested in how we can make digital audiences feel just as involved as those in the room and look forward to building strong relationships with our clients.”

Rich Belcher, managing director of First Sight Media, commented on the new hires: “It’s an exciting time for us as we take on more complex and varied projects for our clients. Harry, Luke, and Emma bring exactly the kind of practical, hands-on experience we need right now. Their individual skills are a great fit for our team, and they are already making a positive contribution to our production delivery.”
